Some photos of a spinning wheel I'm looking at.....to buy or not to buy?

One of the supports for the flyer broke off, but could be an easy fix. It's a 3 hour drive to look at in person, though.

  1. I'd say 'no' and wait till a working wheel comes your way. I started with a wheel that was missing a few things myself and never even got to spin on it because it was more expensive to have the wheel fixed, and have additional bobbins made.

    If you have a spinning guild close by, drop by during one of their meetings maybe and see if you can try out some wheels.
